Project Maira

This page shows where the project stands and what we need from you before we move into build and launch. Use the links above for Figma, shared project files on Google Drive, and the live demo app.

Timeline

We are currently in the design phase. The checklist below tracks what we still need before we lock design and start development.

  2. CurrentPhaseDesign
  3. PhaseBuild
  4. PhaseLaunch

Design and words

Before we start building, we need your final approval on how things look and what the text says.

  • Final words (text): We need the final, approved text for all screens. We will replace all the fake “dummy” text with your actual message.
  • Logos: Your main logo in a high-quality, clear format.
  • App icons: The little square picture users will tap on their phones to open your app. If you have the final design for this, please send it over.
  • Final design approval: We need your final “okay” on the design. Once you approve, we will lock in the design and start coding.

Apple and Google app stores

To put your apps on people's phones, we need to set up your own store accounts and write the descriptions users will read before they download.

Apple App Store (for iPhones)

Apple Developer Account: You need to sign up for an Apple Developer Account as a company. Apple can take a few weeks to verify business accounts.

App Store details:

  • App name: The name of your app.
  • Short summary: A quick tagline for your app.
  • Full description: A longer explanation of what your app does and why people should download it.
  • Keywords: Words people might type into the search bar to find your app.
  • Support link: A web link to a contact or help page on your website.

Google Play Store (for Androids)

Google Play Account: You need to create a Google Play Developer Account and pay a small, one-time setup fee.

Play Store details:

  • App name: The name of your app.
  • Short summary: A quick tagline.
  • Full description: A longer explanation of your app.

Web app

To make your web app live on the internet, we need to connect it to your website address.

  • Domain name access: We need the login details for the website where you bought your web address (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.). This lets us point your address to the new web app.

Important note: Apple and Google will reject the mobile apps if we do not include links to your legal documents.

  • Privacy policy: A live web link to your company’s Privacy Policy.
  • Terms of service: A live web link to your Terms and Conditions.

Email system setup

We need to connect your app to an email service so it can send messages to your users (like welcome emails or “forgot password” links).

What we need from you:

  • Your chosen email provider: Let us know which service you are using (for example: SendGrid, Mailgun, or Amazon SES).
  • API keys: Log into your email provider’s website, go to the settings, and create an “API Key” (this is a special secret code that lets our app talk to your email system). Please copy that code and send it to us securely.
  • Alternative: If you aren’t sure how to find the API Key, you can simply give us the username and password for your email provider account, and we will log in and get the code ourselves.
